Requirements & Information

The primary renter must be at least 21 years of age (or the minimum required by local law) to rent a vehicle.
Renters aged 21-24 may be subject to an underage fee.
Renters aged 25 and older are generally eligible for standard rental terms without additional underage fees.

Renters must provide a valid, government-issued driver’s license. The license must be in good standing (i.e., no suspensions or restrictions).
International renters must present a valid international driver’s permit (IDP) along with their foreign driver’s license.
The driver’s license must have been held for at least one year.

Renters must provide a valid passport or proof of identity (e.g., government-issued ID).
A proof of address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement) is required for verification.

A valid credit card in the renter’s name is required at the time of booking and vehicle pickup to secure payment for the rental and any potential security deposit.
We do not accept prepaid credit cards or debit cards for the security deposit unless otherwise stated.
Security deposit: A deposit will be required at the time of rental to cover any potential damages, fines, or extra charges. The deposit amount will vary based on the type of vehicle rented.

Insurance Coverage: Renters are required to provide valid insurance for the rental vehicle. This can be either:
- Personal Car Insurance: If the renter’s personal insurance policy covers rental vehicles, proof of such coverage must be provided at the time of rental.
- Insurance Purchased from BASCAR RENTALS: Renters may purchase insurance coverage through BASCAR RENTALS at the time of booking or pickup.
Renters are responsible for ensuring that their insurance covers the vehicle and any potential damages.
If a renter fails to provide proof of insurance, BASCAR RENTALS reserves the right to deny the rental.

Renters are responsible for obtaining valid roadside assistance coverage for the rental period. This can be arranged through:
- AAA Roadside Assistance or any other third-party roadside assistance provider.
- If the renter does not have coverage, BASCAR RENTALS recommends obtaining roadside assistance at the time of booking.
Roadside assistance coverage should include services such as flat tire assistance, jump-starts, towing, fuel delivery, and lock-out assistance.
BASCAR RENTALS is not responsible for any roadside emergencies or related costs incurred during the rental period.

Renters may add additional drivers to the rental agreement. Each additional driver must meet the same eligibility requirements (e.g., valid driver’s license and minimum age).
A fee will apply for each additional driver.
All additional drivers must be listed on the rental agreement and provide their information at the time of vehicle pickup.

Renters are required to:

Operate the vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and traffic regulations.
Not use the vehicle for illegal activities or commercial purposes.
Not sublet or rent the vehicle to third parties.
Not drive the vehicle off-road or outside designated rental areas unless authorized.
Not allow any unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental vehicle.

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. Renters must return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged for refueling at a higher rate than the local fuel cost, plus a service fee.

The rental period begins when the vehicle is picked up and ends when the vehicle is returned as specified in the rental agreement.
Late returns will be charged an additional daily rental fee.
Early returns do not qualify for a refund for unused rental days.

Renters are responsible for damages to the vehicle, including accidents, vandalism, theft, or damage caused by negligence or improper use.
In the event of accidents or damage, the renter must report the incident to BASCAR RENTALS immediately and cooperate with any investigations.
If the vehicle is involved in an accident, the renter must provide a police report and may be liable for repair costs, depending on the rental agreement and insurance coverage.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup are eligible for a 100% refund of the reservation fee.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental period will result in a non-refundable reservation fee.
Renters can modify their reservation up to 24 hours prior to the pickup without penalty, based on availability.
No-shows or cancellations made on the day of the rental will incur a fee.

We accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
We do not accept prepaid cards or debit cards for the security deposit unless otherwise specified.

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Renters wishing to rent for less than this period may be subject to additional fees.

Renters must adhere to all local laws and traffic regulations when operating the rental vehicle.
BASCAR RENTALS is not liable for any penalties, fines, or charges incurred by the renter due to violation of local laws.
